Gourmet Rice Krispie Treats - Frequently Asked Questions

You can buy Cereal Dreams Rice Krispie and other cereal treats and our granola here on our website in addition to in-person at several farmers markets in New Jersey. 

Our Rice Krispie treats and cereal treats of all varieties are made fresh with only a handful of ingredients and no preservatives. We brown our butter and perfect the cereal-to-marshmallow ratio for each cereal to produce the perfect chewy, crunchy treat.

Our granola is made in small-batches using clean, all natural ingredients that you know and love, with no preservatives or added chemicals. Each small-batch is made with care and love to produce granola you will crave and feel good about eating. 

If you can abstain from eating our treats immediately than this is a great question! Our treats stay fresh for 1-3 weeks with some varieties staying fresher than others over time. We recommend keeping them well-wrapped to protect them from air. They can also be frozen once they are wrapped. Just give them about an hour to defrost.

Yes! We love custom orders. Whether it’s for a team, a college acceptance, a bar/bat mitzvah or birthday, Cereal Dreams Rice Krispie treats are a canvas for your special occasion. In 2026, Cereal Dreams will be at these New Jersey farmers markets:

• Summit Farmers Market, Sundays 8AM-1PM 
• Bedminster Farmers Market, every other Saturday 9AM-1PM
• Maplewood Farmers Market, Mondays 2—7PM
• Morristown Farmers Market, every other Sunday 8:30AM-1PM

The most popular flavors are Pistachio Maple Cherry, Cinnamon Crunch and Mango Agave. That’s not to say that the Vanilla Almond, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt, Vanilla Almond and Banana Strawberry are unpopular however!

Cereal Dreams does not have a storefront. We are a Cottage Food Operator that operates in a home kitchen in Maplewood, New Jersey. Cereal Dreams is Cottage Food Operator #1353.

This is like asking me to pick my favorite child! The most popular flavors are the classic brown butter Rice Krispie, Fruity Pebbles, Golden Grahams s’mores, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Lucky Charms. 

We know that the type of marshmallow is a concern for many consumers. Our marshmallows are the “standard” variety that contain gelatin and are not kosher. 

If you want to place an order with Cereal Dreams for treats using vegan marshmallows we are happy to do this. Note that vegan marshmallows are more expensive and will impact the total cost of your order.

While ingredients vary from variety to variety, our granola is made with 

• rolled oats, 
• a natural sweetener which could be maple syrup, agave or honey,
• oil which could be olive oil, coconut oil or canola oil
• nuts and seeds such as pistachios, almonds, walnuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seed and/or chia seeds,
• dried fruits such as mango, sour cherries, freeze-dried strawberries, dried bananas and dried cranberries
• sea salt,
• spices and extracts such as cinnamon, vanilla or almond extract and cocoa powder
• dark chocolate

Our cereal krispie treats are individually wrapped for sale at farmers markets. 

Online orders can also be individually wrapped or unwrapped but in a bakery box. When you order you just need to indicate if you want them individually wrapped.

Cereal Dreams does have a selection of gluten free krispie treats. Here are our gluten free treat varieties:

• Classic Krispie (we don’t use Kellogg’s brand as they are not gluten free)
• Fruity Pebbles
• Lucky Charms
• Cocoa Krispie

Yes. With the exception of our Mango Agave granola which includes honey as an ingredient, all of our granolas are vegan.
